Here is what you need to do, it looks like a bunch, but it's not....

------------NON CIV4 PART-----------------
1. Download and Install this app: http://www.softstack.com/download/freesmtp.zip
2. Open "Free SMTP" and click on "Options"
3. Set the DNS server to 4.2.2.2 and click "ok"
4. Close the app, reopen, then minimize the app
5. Look up your computers IP address and remember it, because you will need it! (Start -> Run -> type in "cmd" -> in dos type "ipconfig")

---------CIV4 IN GAME--------------------
1. Open Civ4, go to Multiplayer, then play by email
2. Select load game (By this point you should have received the saved game by email, and saved it to your computer) **Email's will go to Spam, check there!!!***
****The Password is "roma"****
3. Open the saved game then go to step 4 before playing
4. Hit "Esc" then select "Your Details"
5. Scroll down and make sure your email address is correctly entered, and for SMTP server enter in your IP that you looked up earlier)
6. Play out your turn, when done hit enter and you will be prompted to email, it should have the next players address already, DO NOT enter a smtp username or password, just hit send

Important things to remember
- Find a convenient location to save the game so you don't have to browse all over the place every time you download it
- Make sure the "Free SMTP" app is running when you play
- If you pause the game or lose the send prompt, you can Hit "Esc" then select "Your Details" , then click send
